Editing NZ Online: Page Image

Each page image is approximately 800 x 1200 pixels. This page image is set inside a scrollable division. When a page is loaded at login the user scrolls to where the record being reviewed is located so that it appears directly under the digitized record. We use automated methods to predict where the next record will be located so that subsequent records scroll automatically but fine adjustments can be done manually. Page images are not always square due to the original imaging process.

The division displays approximately 15 records. This means that the last records near the bottom of the page may not be able to be scrolled to the top of the screen. Clicking on the division will place a maroon horizontal line on the screen. This line moves with the division and can be adjusted. It functions to assist locating the current record particularly in the last records on the page where scrolling is inhibited.
